On Tuesday, May 20th, during our monthly Teen Advisory Board meeting, six outstanding individuals were elected by their peers to serve as leaders of the 2025–2026 Executive Teen Advisory Board.
The Teen Advisory Board is the South Huntington Public Library’s dedicated community service organization for SHPL cardholders in grades 6–12. It offers meaningful opportunities throughout the year for members to give back to the community in a variety of impactful ways. These opportunities extend beyond the YA Library’s regularly scheduled service programs and are available to those who participate in monthly meetings from September through early June.
No registration is required to attend meetings, which often feature guest speakers from local organizations who share their missions and ways teens can get involved.
