As the crisp fall weather sets in and the leaves turn shades of orange and gold, November brings with it not only the joy of Thanksgiving but also a fantastic lineup of movie releases. From eagerly awaited sequels to romance and suspenseful thrillers, this month’s video releases promise to keep your evenings cozy and entertaining. 

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice (November 19)

Michael Keaton reprises his iconic role as the mischievous Betelgeuse in the long-awaited sequel directed by Tim Burton. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia's (Winona Ryder)  life gets turned upside down when her daughter discovers a portal to the afterlife. When someone says Beetlejuice's name three times, the mischievous demon soon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem. Catherine O'Hara, Jenna Ortega and Justin Theroux also appear in this dark fantasy comedy that brings back all the quirky humor and supernatural antics of the original film.

It Ends with Us (November 5)

The story follows Lily Bloom (Blake Lively), a young woman who opens her own flower shop in Boston after her father's funeral. She meets and falls in love with Ryle Kincaid (Justin Baldoni), a charming neurosurgeon, but soon discovers that their relationship is abusive. When her first love, Atlas (Brandon Sklenar), rejoins her life, Lily is forced to confront her past and make difficult choices about her future. Based on the Colleen Hoover novel. 

Blink Twice (November 5)

When tech billionaire Slater King (Channing Tatum) meets cocktail waitress Frida (Naomi Ackie) at his fundraising gala, sparks fly. He invites her to join him and his friends on a dream vacation on his private island. Wild nights blend into sun soaked days and everyone's having a great time. No one wants this trip to end, but as strange things start to happen, Frida begins to question her reality. There is something wrong with this place. She'll have to uncover the truth if she wants to make it out of this party alive.

Strange Darling (November 5)

A psychological thriller directed by JT Mollner, the film follows a twisted one-night stand between a woman known as "the Lady" (Willa Fitzgerald) and a man called "the Demon" (Kyle Gallner). What starts as a seemingly consensual encounter quickly spirals into a deadly game of cat and mouse. The Lady, who is revealed to be a prolific serial killer herself, turns the tables on the Demon, leading to a series of violent confrontations. The story is told in a non-linear fashion, adding to the suspense and mystery as viewers piece together the events leading up to the climax.

Trap (November 5)

Cooper Abbott (Josh Hartnett),  a Philadelphia firefighter, takes his teenage daughter, Riley (Ariel Donoghue), to see the pop star Lady Raven perform live. However, Cooper soon discovers that the concert is actually a trap set by the FBI to catch him, as he is secretly the notorious serial killer known as "The Butcher". As Cooper tries to evade law enforcement while bonding with Riley, the film builds tension and suspense, leading to a thrilling climax.

Between the Temples (November 12)

Ben (Jason Schwartzman) is a forty-something cantor losing his voice and possibly his faith. Struggling to meet the expectations of his rabbi, congregation, and not one but two Jewish mothers (Caroline Aaron and Dolly De Leon), Ben finds his world turned upside down when his grade school music teacher re-enters his life as an adult bat mitzvah student. This warm and anxious comedy from prolific writer/director Nathan Silver explores the complexities of belief, connection, and what it means to be a real mensch.

Speak No Evil (November 19) 

In this psychological horror thriller starring James McAvoy, an American family accepts an invitation to spend the weekend at a British family's country estate. What starts as a delightful holiday quickly turns into a psychological nightmare as tensions escalate and sinister intentions come to light. The hosts begin to test the limits of their guests, leading to a chilling and suspenseful experience.

The Critic (November 26)

Set in 1930s London, Ian Mckellen stars as Jimmy Erskine, a powerful theater critic known for his scathing reviews. When the newspaper's new owner, Viscount Brooke (Mark Strong), demands that Erskine tone down his harsh critiques, Erskine retaliates by blackmailing Brooke with the help of a young actress, Nina Land (Gemma Arterton). The plot takes a dark turn as Erskine's actions lead to tragic consequences, including blackmail, betrayal, and murder.
