Participate in the Sketchbook Initiative

Beginning April 1st, we invite all South Huntington cardholders to participate in The Sketchbook Initiative - an exciting, ongoing, art project designed to encourage creativity within the community and provide a space that welcomes creative expression for all ages and skill levels.

Express yourself! We encourage you to fill your sketchbook with whatever inspires you - drawings, doodles, cartoons, graphics, collages, poetry, or short stories - it’s up to you.

Completed sketchbooks will be displayed in a designated area of the library as part of our permanent library collection. You can also request to have your sketchbook added to our digital collection for a $10 digitization fee.
