Start the New Year right with good fortune and flavor. Black eyed peas are a traditional food with deep roots in Southern culture eaten in January, believed to bring good luck and prosperity for the coming year. Join Chef Kathryn, integrative nutritional health coach, as she prepares her version of a hearty black eyed pea casserole with collard greens and savory tomatoes. It’s a great opportunity to learn how to work with collard greens, which are nutritional superstars. There will be taste samplings and recipes.
