  8. SAT Review Class

    Location : Meeting Room
    Details : This 12 hour course is being taught on Mondays September 16, 23, 30 October 7, 14, 21. Students will be instructed on special test taking skills and tactics specific to the SAT exam itself. All course instructors are NY State certified math or English teachers with experience teaching and tutoring for the SAT exam. There is an $85 fee due at the time of registration. Checks should be made payable to the South Huntington Public Library. Each student is responsible for purchasing a copy of McGraw-Hill's SAT, 2019 (or 2020) edition and bringing a calculator. Registration begins September 3 for South Huntington card holders. All others may register beginning September 10. No make-up classes will be available.

    Details : Learn how to build and nurture your professional network with LinkedIn. This beginner hands-on course will cover the essentials of LinkedIn, such as creating an account, making connections, uploading your resume and searching for jobs. We'll also provide some tips for LinkedIn success. South Huntington cardholders can reserve their seat beginning Sept. 3, out of district Sept. 10.
