This hands-on workshop will focus on expression and creativity as each student will go over the procedure of creating themselves into a zombie! On Friday, December 7, 2012 at 7pm, the doors opened for the new expanded and renovated Young Adult Library. This new high-tech space is a place for meeting your friends, relaxing with a book, playing games and doing school work. Our collection holds over 4,000 books, including fiction, graphic novels, nonfiction, reference and a variety of magazines.
The library will be staffed 3pm to 9pm Monday through Friday, 11am to 5pm on Saturday and 1pm to 5pm on Sunday and will offer a variety of services to SHPL patrons in grades 6 through 12. Before 3pm during the week, the room will be available for general use and will host programs for the community.
