Reporting: Monday, June 26th through Saturday, August 12th, 2017

  1. Build A Better World! Adult Summer Reading Program is open to all adult (18+) South Huntington Public Library cardholders.
  2. Patrons may register on Saturday, June 17th and after at the Adult Reference Desk.
  3. Read or listen to books of your choice. They may be fiction or nonfiction, poetry, or plays. For every book completed during the club period, record the title and author in your Build A Better World Reading Log and fill out a Booknote. Bring your log and Booknote(s) to the Reference Desk to obtain a Raffle Ticket. Fill out the Raffle Ticket and place it in the Weekly Raffle Jar for a chance to win "Books in a Bag" (only one "Books in a Bag" prize per person). Then pin your Booknote(s) on the Booknote Board behind the Reference Desk. If you prefer, you may complete your Booknote online by clicking the link on the Library’s home page.
  4. After each Weekly Drawing all Raffle Tickets will be put into the Final Raffle Jar for a chance to win an iPad. The Final Drawing for the winner will be August 15th.
  5. After presenting your Booknote for your 4th and 6th book, collect your special Reading Prize. Collect an additional prize for your 8th book (while supplies last).
  6. To participate online goto www.shpl.info/SRC. Click on the Build A Better World tab and follow on-screen instructions.
