    Details : Preschoolers and their parents will have fun with early childhood educator, Lisa Havekotte. Together you will enjoy playing, dancing, singing, bubbles, listening to stories and making a cool craft. Register January 12.

    Details : Work off those holiday pounds while having fun with a Zumba routine led by instructor Lauren Singer. Fee $20. SHPL registers Dec. 8, others Dec. 15.
  4. Kick & Play

    Details : Experienced instructors along with puppet friends, Mimi & Pepe, will take you and your little one through a world of exciting physical activity designed to develop pre-soccer skills that will have your toddler learning to balance, run, kick and play - all while having a blast! Register January 5.
  5. Life is Your Journey: High School
    Time : 10:00 AM
    Location : Young Adult Room
    Details : Examine the dangers of making high risk choices while we explore "Too Good for Drugs" so you can be armed with the latest and most up to date information on drugs that are affecting YOUth today. Attend all 5 sessions to earn 8 hours of community service. Presented by Huntington Drug & Alcohol Counseling Center. Registration recommended, but not required. Registration begins December 1.
  6. Baking Coach: Melted Snowmen
    Time : 2:30 PM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : Create 3 melting snowmen out of buttercream and fondant using assorted candy decorations. Take them home in a decorated bakery box. Register January 5.
  7. Winter Concert: The Generators
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Community Room
    Details : Join us for a performance by this fun, versatile band playing high energy classic, pop and Southern rock, and dance tunes, (with a few one-hit wonders thrown in!!) from the 60s to today. Featuring Manny Campos on lead guitar/vocals, Robin Campos on drums/vocals, Nelson Arce on bass/vocals, and John Pagliarulo (Johnny Pags) on keyboard/vocals. Free tickets are available to South Huntington cardholders beginning Dec. 8. Print them online or get them in person at the Circulation Desk. Tickets are valid until 6:50 p.m., when non-ticket holders will be seated, if there is space.
