    Details : This is an informational educational event to discuss challenges faced by immigrant students on Long Island and provide resources.
  8. Writing Your Memoirs
    Time : 6:30 PM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : This is a 6-week workshop concentrating on autobiographical writing. Everyone has a story to tell, and this workshop will help participants write powerful and effective memoirs through group discussion, constructive critique of their work and short in-class writing assignments. In this supportive environment, participants can work on existing work, new work, a full memoir or short essays. The workshop is taught by New York Times bestselling author and award-winning journalist Robbie Woliver who also teaches writing and journalism at Farmingdale State College. There is a $25 fee, payable at registration, beginning Jan. 4 for South Huntington cardholders; all others Jan. 11.

    Details : Gallop into the library for an evening of all things My Little Pony! We will have crafts and games to show off your pony pride. My Little Pony attire is encouraged but not required. Register February 8.
