  1. Color Your World Adult Coloring
    Time : 10:00 AM

    Details : Who says coloring is just for kids? Let your creative juices flow and color something beautiful while you socialize and meet others in the community. The library will provide coloring pages and pencils, but feel free to bring your own.
  2. Game Day
    Time : 11:00 AM
    Location : Young Adult Room
    Details : Whether you enjoy bridge, canasta or mah jong, bring your game supplies and some friends and spend time playing and socializing. We will set up tables and chairs in the Young Adult Library on the lower level.
  3. Star Wars Science
    Time : 2:30 PM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : It's all about Star Wars! We'll build light sabers and make Galaxy slime plus other fun Star Wars themed activities. Register February 7.
  4. Babysitting Workshop
    Time : 4:30 PM
    Location : Young Adult Room
    Details : Project Excel will be offering two day babysitting preparation course for middle and high school students. Students work hands-on with animated dolls to learn the basics of infant care including feeding, burping, diaper changing, safety and play. Students learn how to engage toddlers and younger children in play as well as scheduling, discipline and safety. Students leave with a toolkit of games and strategies to become top rate caregivers. Registration begins February 6.
  5. Bedtime Book Buddies
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Young Adult Room
    Details : Book Buddies involves older kids helping to teach younger kids the fun and joy of reading. Teen Advisory Board members will read to or with their younger partners followed by an activity with the teen helping the child, and concluding with the buddies sharing a snack. Registration begins February 7.
  6. Evening Book Discussion
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Meeting Room
    Details : Join us for a discussion of The Kitchen House by Kathleen Grissom. Multiple copies of the book will be available at the Circulation Desk. New participants, listeners welcome.
  7. Learn to Speak English
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : Adults who want to learn English are invited to participate in free ESL classes. Taught by a native English speaker, the classes are designed to help new English speakers practice and improve basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in English, in a casual and fun environment. The classes are free and open to all.
