Chef Kathryn Bari-Petritis is back to help you make veggie burgers so delicious you won't miss the meat. Please bring a small portable container to bring your veggie burger home.     Details : Dr. Robert Dell'Amore will introduce 15 super foods and show you how to incorporate them into your diet. Recipes include Three Bean Salad, Taco-less Tacos, Lemon Garlic Vinaigrette and more all salt, butter and sugar free.     Details : Discover how whales communicate through sound. Explore the properties of sound as you experiment with waves and vibrations. Tap a tuning fork, shake different instruments, and create your own whizzing bullroarer. Register July 3.

  6. Register for Bedtime Book Buddies on 7/11

    Details : Book Buddies involves older kids helping to teach younger kids the fun and joy of reading. Teen volunteers from our community will read to or with their younger partners followed by an activity with the teen helping the child, and concluding with the buddies sharing a snack.   13. Battle of the Books Practice

    Details : If you are entering grades 6, 7, 8 or 9 in September and love to read, we have the program for you! We need your skills to read and memorize trivia from eight pre-selected books to compete against other Suffolk libraries for the title of County Champion! Meetings will be on Mondays June 19 - August 7 from 7-8 pm in the YA library, with the actual battle taking place on Saturday, August 12th and Monday, August 14th. New participants are welcome to attend June 19 and 26.
