    Details : Explore the art of building using a variety of materials including straws, sticks, cups, blocks and more! There will be some planned builds and plenty of free exploration. What will you build? Register July 25.
  2. So Big!
    Time : 10:00 AM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : Look, listen, and have fun with songs, stories, and movement activities. When storytime is over there will be 20 minutes of playtime with age-appropriate toys. Siblings welcome. Registration begins July 3.
  3. Beautiful Butterflies
    Time : 3:00 PM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : Learn about local butterfly species and habitats in this visit with some butterfly friends. You will observe the stages in the butterfly life cycle and learn about the anatomy of this insect at each stage. Register July 11.
  4. Middle School Yoga
    Time : 5:00 PM
    Location : Meeting Room
    Details : Learn the basics of yoga to help you achieve balance and stress relief and increase strength and flexibility. Bring a mat or towel and a bottle of water. Registration begins July 6.
  5. Evening Yoga
    Time : 6:30 PM
    Location : Meeting Room
    Details : Instructor Augusta Berner will help you end your day on a positive note with a yoga routine to strengthen your body and relax your mind. There is a $28 fee payable at registration beginning June 6; others June 13.
  6. Bedtime Book Buddies
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Young Adult Room
    Details : Book Buddies involves older kids helping to teach younger kids the fun and joy of reading. Teen volunteers from our community will read to or with their younger partners followed by an activity with the teen helping the child, and concluding with the buddies sharing a snack. Register July 3.
  7. Intermediate Crochet: Ruffle Edge Tank Top
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : Learn how to crochet using cotton for this simple project. Take a plain tank top from so-so to boho by adding a crochet ruffle to the edge of your garment. Knowledge of basic crochet stitches required. Supplies: 1 ball classic 10 crochet cotton, embroidery sewing needles and a size B or 2.75mm crochet hook and a tank top. There is a $5 fee payable at registration beginning July 5 for South Huntington cardholders; others July 12.
