  7. Learn to Speak English

    Details : Adults who want to learn English are invited to participate in free ESL classes. Taught by a native English speaker, the classes are designed to help new English speakers practice and improve basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in English, in a casual and fun environment. The program is free, and all are welcome.
  8. The Art of Kindness
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Meeting Room
    Details : Build a Better World by bringing kindness into your life and the lives of others. Allen Hecht, attorney and professor, will discuss the science of kindness and present interesting research and studies. He will also talk about why kindness is important, roadblocks that inhibit our tendency to be kind and strategies to get around the roadblocks. Among other accomplishments, Allen teaches a kindness/business leadership honors class at Walt Whitman High School that explores kindness and ties it to business and personal success. All welcome.
