  8. Writing Your Memoirs

    Details : This is a 6-week workshop concentrating on autobiographical writing. Everyone has a story to tell, and this workshop will help the participants write the most powerful and effective memoirs they can through group discussion, constructive critique of their work and short in-class writing assignments. In this supportive environment, participants can work on existing work, new work, a full memoir or short essays. The workshop is taught by New York Times bestselling author and award-winning journalist Robbie Woliver, who also teaches writing and journalism at Farmingdale State College. There is a $20 fee, payable at registration, beginning May 1 for South Huntington cardholders.
