Join instructor Helen Murdock-Prep for these workshops that will help you explore your interest in acting. Theater games, monologues and scenes -- it's all here. There is a $20 fee for this 4-session workshop, payable at registration beginning April 3 for South Huntington cardholders; others April 10. Enrollment is limited.

  10. Register for YA Macho Nacho Challenge on 4/10

    Details : Think you can transform salsa and chips into the ultimate plate of nachos? Then have we got the competition for you. Three teams will be competing to earn bragging rights and the crown of the Macho Nacho Champions. Special guest judges will test all of the entries and vote on a winner. This will be nacho your average program. Please let us know when signing up if you have any food allergies. Register April 3.
  11. Tai Chi Level One

    Details : Certified instructor Rosanne Pawluk will teach you Part 2 of the classic Yang 24 Form practiced in the US and China. The gentle flowing movements of tai chi aim to increase balance, flexibility and relaxation, and improve overall mind, body and spirit. There is a $42 fee for this 8 session class, payable at registration beginning Feb. 6 for South Huntington cardholders; others Feb. 13.

  15. PTA Reflections
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Community Room
    Details : "What Is Your Story?" is this year's theme of the National PTA's Reflections cultural arts program, which is coordinated locally by the South Huntington PTA Council. Students interpreted the theme is a variety of media. The winning entries will be on display in the Alfred Van Loen Gallery during the month of April.
