  2. Tai Chi for Health

    Details : Instructor Rosanne Pawluk will teach you this simple form, based on Sun style Tai Chi, which features agile steps and exercises that may improve mobility, breathing and relaxation. There is a $47 fee for this 9-session class, payable at registration beginning Feb. 9 for South Huntington cardholders; others Feb. 16.
  3. Medicare 101

    Details : Find out what you need to know before selecting health care coverage. This workshop by Lauren Granger from Blue Cross Blue Shield is a good primer for people who are new to Medicare, moved recently to Suffolk County, are losing insurance coverage or are retiring in the near future. She will also talk about programs such as EPIC that can help a person save money. All welcome.
  4. Picture Book Time

    Details : Listening to stories is one of the first steps in eventually learning to read. This story time allows children and their caregivers to gradually separate at their own pace. Register January 5.
  5. Mother Goose Rhymetime Drop-in

    Details : Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes and fingerplays for children ages birth to 35 months with parent/caregiver. Siblings are welcome. Drop-in.
  6. Thursday Yoga

    Details : Instructor Augusta Berner will lead you through a yoga routine that will strengthen your body and relax your mind. There is a $36 fee for this 9-session class, payable at registration beginning Feb. 9 for South Huntington cardholders; others Feb. 16.

    Details : Let's get down to business to defeat some tunes. Grab some magical friends and be a part of our world at Teen Disney Karaoke Night. There will be light snacks served for all of those who be our guests for the evening. No registration required.
  10. What is a Doula?

    Details : If you are pregnant or planning to be, you may want to consider working with a doula. Certified doula Samantha Sahadeo will discuss the services and support doulas can provide and how they can benefit mothers during pregnancy, delivery and post partum. All welcome.
