    Details : Certified instructor Rosanne Pawluk will teach you Part 2 of the classic Yang 24 Form practiced in the US and China. The gentle flowing movements of tai chi aim to increase balance, flexibility and relaxation, and improve overall mind, body and spirit. There is a $42 fee for this 8 session class, payable at registration beginning Feb. 6 for South Huntington cardholders; others Feb. 13.

    Details : Children (ages 2 to 3) and their accompanying grown-up participate in a program of music and movement, stories and a simple craft led by one of our children's librarians. Siblings are welcome. Registration begins March 1.

    Details : Instructor Augusta Berner will kick off your week with a yoga routine to strengthen your body and relax your mind. There is a $32 fee payable at registration beginning Feb. 6 for South Huntington cardholders; others Feb. 13.

    Details : Come in to the library and spend some time building with our Legos. Everyone will get the chance to build something based on the month's theme. Participants will have their creations displayed in the library for two weeks. Register March 1.
  6. Homework Help at the South Huntington Public Library
    Time : 6:30 PM
    Location : Young Adult Room
    Details : High School students will assist children in the community with their homework assignments in the YA Library. Parents/Caregivers must remain in the building during the program. Help is offered on a first come, first serve basis.

    Details : Calling all volunteers involved in PTA, youth sports, religious, civic and fraternal organizations: Whether you are organizing a fund raiser, trying to grow your organization or rallying around a cause, using social media is a great way to get the word out. Social media expert Caitlin Meuser will show you how to use various social media platforms to benefit your organization. All welcome.
