  1. Tai Chi for Health

    Details : Instructor Rosanne Pawluk will teach you this simple form, based on Sun style Tai Chi, which features agile steps and exercises that may improve mobility, breathing and relaxation. There is a $42 fee for this 8-session class, payable at registration beginning Dec. 8 for South Huntington cardholders; others Dec. 15.
  2. Thursday Yoga

    Location : Meeting Room
    Details : Instructor Augusta Berner will lead you through a yoga routine that will strengthen your body and relax your mind. There is a $32 fee, payable at registration beginning Dec. 8 for South Huntington cardholders; others Dec. 15.
  3. Kids & Teens Together: Princess Spa Day!
    Time : 2:30 PM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : Get treated like a princess and come to our pretend "spa day"! Have your nails and hair done by members of our library's Teen Advisory Board and then we'll read some stories about being a princess. Please bring your own hairbrush and feel free to come dressed as a princess. Register February 9.
  4. Theater Fun for Kids
    Time : 4:00 PM
    Location : Theater
    Details : Build confidence and sharpen your imagination in this two-day class! Students learn acting through role-playing and a variety of other fun activities. Come and gain a basic understanding of what acting is all about! Register February 7.
  5. Cooking Class: Chocolate Painted Cannolis and Cone-olis
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : Chef Rob Scott will teach us how to make cannoli filling from scratch and paint the shells with melted chocolate. Everyone will go home with 3 cannolis and 3 cone-olis. Please bring a ziploc bag, bowl, spoon and whisk to class. There is a $10 fee, payable at registration, beginning Feb. 2 for South Huntington cardholders; others Feb. 9.
  6. Ice Cream Taste Test
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Young Adult Room
    Details : Beat the winter cold with a contest that's even colder! Enter our Ice Cream Taste Test Competition to see if your team's taste buds have what it takes to rule them all. A variety of flavors will be sampled and teams will have to guess what they are being given. A winner will be declared and sundaes will be enjoyed by all at the end of the test. If you have food allergies, please let us know when signing up for the program. Register February 9.
