    Details : Have you been listening to the Hamilton soundtrack on repeat since it was released? Do you have a collection of Playbills sitting in your room? Can you sing every word to the Wicked score? If so, then this is game show for you. Five teams will compete to see who will be crowned the ultimate Broadway Musical Trivia Champions. Light refreshments will be served for all participants. Registration begins December 14.

  4. Tai Chi for Energy

  8. Working with Digital Photos on iPhone or iPad

    Location : Meeting Room
    Details : It's holiday time, and you're sure to be taking lots of pictures. Bring your iPhone or iPad to class and you will learn how to take great pictures, organize the photos on the device and edit the photos, such as cropping. You'll also learn how to share your photos with family and friends. All welcome. Bring your questions!
  9. Writing Short Stories

    Details : This 6-week workshop focuses on the art and techniques of short story writing. Through group discussions and constructive critique, this workshop will help participants write the most powerful and effective short stories their imaginations can come up with, in a variety of styles and genres. We'll cover craft elements such as setting, character, voice, descriptiveness, and editing. We'll discuss how to formulate ideas, how to engage the reader, knowing when to end, and how to create an effective 15-page structure. In this supportive environment, participants can work on existing or new writings. The workshop is taught by New York Times bestselling author and award-winning journalist Robbie Woliver who also teaches writing and journalism at Farmingdale State College. There is a $25 fee, payable at registration beginning Oct. 5 for South Huntington cardholders. Enrollment is limited.
  10. What To Expect After Joint Replacement Surgery

    Details : Are you scheduled for joint replacement surgery or considering it? Join Shweta Malhotra, PT, Director of Rehabilitation at Apex Rehabilitation and Healthcare in South Huntington, who will discuss what patients can expect in terms of post-hospital rehabilitation, pain management, mobility and adaptive devices, as well as exercises that can be done both before and after surgery to help improve the outcome of a joint replacement operation. All welcome.
