  1. Register for Geek Mystique - Video Game Edition on 11/24

    Details : Come and hangout and try a variety of video gaming systems. Everyone will have a chance to explore and play with this video game sampler! Light refreshments and snacks will be served. Geek on! Registration begins November 10.
  2. Drop-In and Play
    Time : 10:00 AM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : Get out of the house, meet other parents and kids and have fun playing and talking together. It's a great way to meet other families in our community. Stay for as long or as little as you like.
  3. Baking Coach: Thanksgiving Dinner on a Cupcake
    Time : 2:30 PM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : Create this yummy masterpiece using candy, buttercream, and fondant cutouts. Everyone will go home with two cupcakes in a bakery box. Register November 3.
  4. Audio Recording Workshop
    Time : 5:00 PM
    Location : Young Adult Room
    Details : Record your song at the library and learn the basics of audio recording. This workshop meets October 13, 20, 27 and November 3 and 10 from 5pm-6:30pm. On November 10 students will stay to record our Open Mic Night at 7pm. Registration begins October 2.
  5. Friday Film Fest: Good Morning, Vietnam
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Theater
    Details : Celebrate the 30th anniversary of this now-classic film. Imported by the Army for an early morning radio show, Adrian Cronauer blasts the formerly staid, sanitized airwaves with a constant barrage of rapid-fire humor and the hottest hits from back home.   6. Teen Open Mic Night
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Young Adult Room
    Details : Step up to the mic and show your stuff. Music, singing, dancing, poetry reading, comedy, magic and other talents are welcome at our open mic night hosted by the Teen Advisory Board. Refreshments will be served. Fill out and hand in an Teen Open Mic Night Act Form (available in the YA Library) to secure your spot. Walk ins welcome, space permitting. For those in 6-12 grade only.
  7. Tweens Night Out: Painted Pig Challenge
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : Get crazy and customize your own ceramic piggy bank with paint and other embellishments. Enjoy some snacks and help award ribbons for creativity. Register November 3.
