    Details : Whether you enjoy bridge, canasta or mah jong, bring your game supplies and some friends and spend time playing and socializing. We will set up tables and chairs in the Young Adult Library on the lower level.

  4. YA Beginning Acoustic Guitar Class

    Details : Have you always wanted to play the guitar? Beginners will learn the basics in this 7-week course. Students must bring a acoustic guitar to class. Register July 1.
  5. Theater Fun for Kids

    Details : Build confidence and sharpen your imagination in this two-day class! Students learn acting through role-playing and a variety of other fun activities. Come and gain a basic understanding of what acting is all about! Register July 18.
  6. Teen Yoga Journaling
    Time : 6:00 PM
    Location : Meeting Room
    Details : Join yoga instructor and English teacher Kelly Maguire in this unique class which explores techniques to unify body, mind and spirit. Learn yoga practices to help you achieve balance and stress relief as well as exercises for self-reflection and awareness through guided writing and meditation. Please bring a yoga mat or towel. Registration for South Huntington library cardholders begins June 15th.

  8. Learn to Speak English

    Details : Adults who want to learn English are invited to participate in free ESL classes. Taught by a native English speaker, the classes are designed to help new English speakers practice and improve basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in English, in a casual and fun environment. The program is free, and all are welcome.
