  1. A Time for Kids: "Where Do They Live"

    Details : Enjoy a series of fun, educational classes for preschoolers ages 18 months - 5 years (not yet in Kindergarten) and an adult caregiver. This is a skill building, interactive class that will help prepare your child for independent learning experiences. Register May 27.
  2. Drop-In and Play
    Time : 12:00 PM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : Get out of the house, meet other parents and kids and have fun playing and talking together. It's a great way to meet other families in our community. Stay for as long or as little as you like.
  3. YA Pizza and a Movie: Star Wars: The Force Awakens
    Time : 6:00 PM
    Location : Young Adult Room
    Details : Luke Skywalker has vanished, and both the Resistance and the sinister First Order are searching for him. Crack pilot Poe Dameron obtains a clue to his whereabouts, but when everything goes wrong, a droid called BB-8 becomes the centre of the search, along with scavenger Rey and stormtrooper deserter FN-2187, who have found the droid.   4. Outdoor Summer Concert Series: Captain Jack

    Location : Outdoor Garden
    Details : Back by popular demand, Captain Jack is a professional Billy Joel Tribute band consisting of some of the tri-state area's top musicians. In every performance, the band captures the "live concert" arrangements of the timeless hits which captivated tens of thousands to Billy Joel concerts. In addition, they perform several "B" sides and rare album cuts in its shows, making it the most complete tribute to this amazing artist. South Huntington cardholders can get free tickets for seating in the garden beginning June 3. Print them online at or get them in person at the Circulation Desk. Tickets are valid until 6:50 p.m. when non-ticket holders will be seated, if there is space. You do not need a ticket to sit on the upper lawn, but bring a blanket or chair.
