  3. Tai Chi for Energy

    Details : Instructor Gwen Devercelly will teach you this simple form of Tai Chi, which can help you sleep better, reduce your stress, and improve your balance, flexibility, strength and immune function. There is a $36 fee for this 9-session class, payable at registration, which begins April 7 for South Huntington cardholders; all others April 14.

    Details : Join instructor Augusta Berner who will lead this yoga routine. There is a $36 fee for this 9-session class, payable at registration beginning April 7 for South Huntington cardholders; others April 14.
  6. Painting Your Way Out of a Corner

    Details : Just as keeping a written journal can help you work though feelings, so can art. Using watercolor paints, Barbara Barry, author of Painting Your Way Out of a Corner, will show you how to use improvisation and imagination to create art that reflects your inner feelings, even if you don't think you have artistic ability. Stand before a blank sheet, brush in hand, and the results can surprise you. There is a $50 fee for this 5-session class. South Huntington cardholders may register beginning May 2; others May 9. A short materials list will be available to registrants.
