    Details : Librarian Howard Spiegelglass will demonstrate Lynda.com, a free online resource through which South Huntington patrons can learn everything from coding and web design to Microsoft and Photoshop. Thousands of tutorial videos are available and patrons can learn at their own pace. Join us!

  5. NaNoWriMo: Come Write-In

    Details : Calling all writers! At these writers' open house sessions, bring your laptop and join other writers to make a dent in your NaNoWriMo word count. Meet other writers and share your writing experiences, inspirations and ideas. Refreshments provided by the Friends of the South Huntington Library.

  7. Learn to Speak English

    Details : Adults who want to learn English are invited to participate in free ESL classes. Taught by a native English speaker, the classes are designed to help new English speakers practice and improve basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in English, in a casual and fun environment. The program is free, and all are welcome.
