This 13-piece group reproduces 1930s and '40s sounds using original arrangements from Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller and Harry James and with special arrangements by band leader and trumpeter Brian Lewis. Not all of their repertoire is vintage, however. They also play the hits of The Brian Setzer Ochestra and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. The band has backed up such names as The Temptations, Jerry Vale, Connie Francis, Al Martino and more.
Free tickets for reserved seating in the garden are available to South Huntington cardholders beginning July 2. Print them online at shpl.info or get them in person at the Circulation Desk. Tickets are valid until 6:50 p.m., when others will be seated if there is space. You do not need a ticket to listen from the upper level lawn, but bring a blanket or chair. In the event of rain, the concert will be held in the theater.
