    Details : For children ages 3-23 mo.and a parent/caregiver. Let Nicole Sparling show you how to get moving and grooving to the music with your infant or toddler. Register July 2.
  4. Toddlers Tango
    Time : 3:00 PM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : For children ages 2-4 years and a parent or caregiver. Clap your hands, stomp your feet and wiggle with the beat! Nicole Sparling will lead children and parents through a morning of musical fun. Children will use instruments, explore rhythm and movement activities, and learn songs, dances and fingerplays from around the world. Register July 2.
  5. Battle of the Books
    Time : 4:00 PM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : If you are entering grades 6-9 in September and love to read, this is the program for you! Our Battle of the Books Team will read and memorize trivia from 8 pre-selected books! On Saturday, August 14th six team representatives will compete against other libraries in Suffolk County for the title of County Champion! Come and find out all the details of this fun and challenging program! While our first formal meeting is June 29th, the battle books will be available in the Young Adult Room June 1 and all who are interested need to come to our informational meeting on Tuesday, June 22 at 4:00pm.
  6. Bedtime Stories under the Stars
    Time : 6:30 PM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : Join children's librarian Mr. B for a half-hour of stories that are perfect for sending you off to sleep. Come in your favorite PJs and bring a cuddly friend. Bring a blanket so we can read under the stars if it is nice outside.
  7. Tots Night Out: Cuckoo Bird Puppet
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : Parent and child (18 months-5 years) will enjoy an hour of interactive fun together playing, singing, and crafting. No siblings please. Register July 2.
