  1. MS Office 2007 Overview CANCELLED

    Details : Learn about Microsoft's newest version of Office, 2007. Gone are the old menus and toolbars. The new ribbon groups your tools by task and the commands you use most frequently are close at hand. This hands-on class is for users who have some experience with prior versions of Microsoft Office applications. There is a $9 fee payable at registration, beginning July 3 for South Huntington cardholders; all others July 10.

    Details : Listening to stories is one of the first steps in eventually learning to read. Our children's librarians have wonderful stories to share in this independent program for 3, 4 & 5 year olds. Adults bringing children to these programs should plan to remain nearby in the Children's Department. Register July 3.

This class is full of variety and allows children to learn acting through monologues, story telling, self expression and creative movement.   13. Storytime Theater Series

    Details : Join us for an exciting and interactive storytime! Your child will listen to stories, act out their favorites, and play theater games, all while building the all important literacy skills necessary to be good readers. Parents will be invited to the final class as the children perform their favorite stories! Register June 2.
