  1. Summer Picture Book Time

    Details : Listening to stories is one of the first steps in eventually learning to read. Our children's librarians have wonderful stories to share in this independent program for 3, 4 & 5 year olds. Adults bringing children to these programs should plan to remain nearby in the Children's Department. Register July 3.
  2. Thursday Yoga
    Time : 11:00 AM
    Location : Meeting Room
    Details : Join instructor Rob LoDolce as he leads you through yoga poses and breathing techniques that will strengthen the body and calm the mind. There is a $28 fee, payable at registration beginning June 10 for South Huntington cardholders.
  3. Who am I?

    Location : Program Room
    Details : This 4-week program presented by A Time for Kids, combines music, movement, a craft and games shared by a child and their grown-up. Register July 12. There is an $8 non-refundable fee payable upon registration.
  4. Mother Goose Rhymetime
    Time : 12:30 PM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes and fingerplays for children ages birth to 35 months with parent/caregiver. Siblings welcome. Register July 7.
  5. Children's Movie: Little Mermaid
    Time : 1:00 PM
    Location : Theater
    Details : Ariel is a fun-loving and mischievous mermaid who is enchanted with all things human. Disregarding her father's order to stay away from the world above the sea, she swims to the surface and, in a raging storm, rescues Prince Eric, the man of her dreams. Determined to be human, she strikes a bargain with the devious seawitch, Ursula, and trades her fins and beautiful voice for legs. (Rated G, 83 minutes)
  6. Book Buddies (Children)
    Time : 4:00 PM
    Location : Meeting Room
    Details : Young children (ages 3-8) are invited to spend an afternoon listening to stories read by teens from our community. Register July 1.
  7. Defensive Driving
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Theater
    Details : None
  8. Evening Yoga
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Meeting Room
