Register for Make a Splash with Jester Jim on 8/10

Details : With nothing more than a truck full of props and his non-laced Adidas, Jester Jim takes the stage and starts his show. Young and old are glued to his every sound as he performs his amazing beatbox intro. Kids and parents alike will talk about the show for weeks after and Libraries can't seem to get enough of Jim and his plungers. Free tickets are available to South Huntington cardholders beginning July 26. Print them online at shpl.info or get them in person at the Circulation Desk. Ticket holders only will be seated until 6:50 p.m. at which time others will be seated if there is space.

Monday Yoga

Details : Join instructor Rob LoDolce as he leads you through yoga poses and breathing techniques that will strengthen the body and calm the mind. There is a $25 fee, payable at registration beginning June 7 for South Huntington cardholders.

Special Pizza & Movie Night!

Details : Special Pizza & Movie Night and Discussion. In conjunction with the South Huntington PTA and in an effort to raise awareness of bullying and its consequences, we are pleased to present this special showing of the critically acclaimed and inspiring movie "Freedom Writers," which promotes and honors diversity in the classroom, teaches tolerance, and encourages students to reach their full potential. Enjoy some pizza with your friends and a great discussion after the movie. Bring an adult with you and earn community service hours! Free tickets are available online or in person to South Huntington cardholders beginning July 12. Teens bringing an adult must obtain a ticket for the adult as well.
