  1. Drop-In and Play

    Details : Get out of the house, meet other parents and kids and have fun playing and talking together. It's a great way to meet other families in our community. Stay for as long or as little as you like.
  2. For Teens Only: Friday Afternoon at the Movies
    Time : 3:00 PM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : DEAR JOHN (PG-13, 108 mins.) A romantic drama about a soldier who falls for a conservative college student while he's home on leave. No registration is necessary.
  3. Outdoor Summer Concert: The East End Trio
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Outdoor Garden
    Details : Featuring Michael Munzer on vocals/guitar; Doug Morrow, drums/percussion; and Scott O'Hare, bass/vocals, The East End Trio performs all of your favorites from the 1960s to today, including James Taylor, The Eagles, Jim Croce, Jimmy Buffet, CSN, Paul Simon and more.

    Free tickets for reserved seating in the garden are available to South Huntington cardholders beginning July 2. Print them online at shpl.info or get them in person at the Circulation Desk. Tickets are valid until 6:50 p.m., when others will be seated if there is space. You do not need a ticket to listen from the upper level lawn, but bring a blanket or chair. In the event of rain, the concert will be held in the theater.

  4. Summer Story Quilt
    Time : 7:00 PM
    Location : Program Room
    Details : Hear some summer stories and paint a square for a fabric quilt to be displayed in the library. Register July 3.
