CHILDREN'S SUMMER READING CLUB : Catch the Reading Bug
June 30-August 16
Join our library reading club this summer. Registration for children entering grades
K-6 continues through Saturday, August 2 in person in the Children's library.
Read all 8 books and complete all requirements
by Saturday, August 16. You will earn prizes, a certificate and a free paperback book.
So buzz on over to the library and catch the reading bug!
TEEN SUMMER READING CLUB : METAMORPHOSIS
June 30-Aug. 15
If you are entering grades 6-12 in September, join our Young Adult Summer Reading Club!
There are 7 weeks of programs for teens, including crafts, hip-hop, puzzles, movies and,
of course, reading! Some of the special programs include Book Buddies and the return of
our Battle of the Books competition! Don’t forget to join us on August 15 for our annual
Summer Pizza Party and raffle! Details of the club and other programs will be included
in your registration packet. You must be registered for the summer reading program to
participate in the activities. In-person registration takes place at the Young Adult
Desk through August 2.

The library is offering a new, expanded online tutoring service called BrainFuse. Students in grades 3-12 can
work one-on-one with a live tutor, 7 days a week, from 3pm to 11pm. Tutors can provide assistance in math,
science, social studies and/or English. To access the BrainFuse service you will need a valid South Huntington
library card.
