Since its inception in 1961, the South Huntington Public Library has been a community center. From the basement of the Central School on New York Avenue and the building on Melville Road to our new facility on Pidgeon Hill Road, the library is a place where all residents of the South Huntington School District can come together.

The library is pleased to support local clubs and organizations, several of which meet here at the library. You can learn more about some of them in the menu at left. We have also provided links to cultural organizations, government agencies and other useful websites.
